Grand Hotel Europe Rooms

The complete renovation of the Grand Hotel Europe between 1989 and 1991 returned the hotel’s rooms and suites to a level of gracious elegance and luxurious comfort that St Petersburg had not seen since the era of  the Tsars. The hotel has 301 rooms, including 88 Standard Classic rooms, 91 Superior Classic rooms, 29 Belle Chambres (Junior Suite), 17 Terrace rooms (Junior Suite), Penthouses suites (Junior Suite), 24 Classic suites and 4 Executive suites, as well as the Lidval Suite, Piano Suite and the Rossi Suite. All rooms are of truly exceptional quality, replete with handsome period furnishings, tasteful decor, and a generous sense of space and ease. Guests may choose from among several different classes of rooms and suites. The entire second floor is a non-smoking area.

Standard (88) and Superior Classic (91) rooms vary in size and layout. Each comprises an entrance way and a bedroom with twin, double or king-size bed. Bathrooms are beautifully appointed with marble floors and underfloor heating. Bathroom amenities include a hairdryer. Each room is equipped with a minibar, personal safe, satellite TV, fax modem line, telephone and international direct dial facility and voice mail, writing desk and armchairs. The Standard Classic rooms vary in size from 23 to 39 square meters and face the inner courtyard. The Superior Classic rooms have a nice views of Arts Square and the famous Russian Museum, Nevsky Prospect, or the Philharmonic. Sizes vary from 30 to 37 square meters.

The Terrace rooms (17) on the fifth floor are all double rooms with balconies. Layout, style and size are similar to the Classic rooms. This rooms are facing Arts Square with striking views of the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, one of St Petersburg’s most beautiful landmarks.

                                    Terrace Rooms

The Belle Chambres rooms (29) are about twice the size of the Standard rooms. Furnished with antique and period reproduction pieces, they are equipped with all of the amenities available in the Classic rooms. All  rooms have parquet floors, spacious seating areas with armchairs and a sofa and large windows facing onto historic Nevsky Prospect - all of which contribute to their extraordinarily light and airy ambience. The rooms range in size from 40 to 57 square meters. 15 are equipped with twin beds, two with double beds, and two with Grand Lits.

                                      Belle Chambres

The Classic Suite (31) feature carefully renovated historical furnishings and comprise an entrance hall, a lounge, a bedroom, a bath and a guest washroom. The suites range in size from 32 to 42 square meters; three are furnished with twin beds, and the remaining 21 are furnished with double beds. The historic rooms offer a nice view towards St. Petersburg's Arts Square and the Philharmonia Hall. Our historic rooms vary from 33 to 42 square meters in size and offer a butler service.

The rest of the rooms are Duplex Suites, five Executive Suites and two Presidential Suites.
