Hotel Rossiya is located in the Southern part of St Petersburg near the metro (subway) station "Victory Park" (Park Pobedy). The location is convenient both for business travellers and tourists. It stands close to the Moskovsky Prospekt, the second largest avenue, what allows fast access to the downtown and Pulkovo International airport. Well-known city suburbs Pushkin and Pavlovsk are within 30 minutes ride by bus. Besides, hotel Rossiya is located within walking distance from the Sport and Concert Center "Petrovsky" which is often used for holding large exhibitions and sport events. The hotel was built in 1961 but in 2001-2003 the complete reconstruction of the hotel was carried out.
