The Comedy Theater named after N.P. Akimov Address: 56 Nevskiy Prospekt Evening performances begin at 7.30 p.m.  This theater was established in 1935 and is famous for its comedys, the unique ideas of its producers, and the exquisite scenery brought in by its director and founder, N.P. Akimov. Actors of both the lyrical and comedy genres such as, E. Younger, L. Sukharevskaya, B. Tenin, E. Garin, I. Zarubina, N. Trofimov, S. Filippov, and V. Svetin have made the theatre famous through their acting. The architect G. Baranovsky built the theater as a part of "The Eliseyev Brothers Partnership" shopping center.
The Young Audience Theater named after A.A. Bryantsev Address: 1 Pionerskaya Square Evening performances begin at 6 p.m.  The repertoire of this theater caters to a young audience. The theater's first director and pedagogue A.A. Bryantsev created the theater group in 1921.
